Vendors & Buyers Proudly Supporting the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity

Now more than ever, our VAB family appreciate the amazing work that Portsmouth Hospitals and NHS staff do every day to care for our community. The Portsmouth Hospitals Charity is a cause very close to our heart. We have all, at some point, received treatment and services from the NHS. Having worked so hard throughout the pandemic, we have an even greater appreciation for our NHS service and the people that work within it.

Vendors & Buyers are proud to be a local partner for this fantastic charity. We are also dedicated to raising funds for a variety of items of equipment to enhance patient care across the trust. Our current goal is to fund two Rotunda Frames to support patients with dementia. One bariatric rotunda and one standard rotunda with accessories including knee supports to keep patients safe.

One of the Ward Sisters says: ‘’ It’s such a super piece of kit it would really assist patients with dementia whilst having their physio sessions and for transferring with nurses as the coloured visual prompts for foot placement and handle grips are so much more user friendly for those with a cognition issue or visual impairment.’’
